MEMOIRS OF RI-YUL
represents a deep connection to our roots, heritage, and the memories that shape your identity. It’s a metaphor for the culture, traditions, and environment that nurtured us, like the gentle echoes of a cradle rocking a child to sleep. Each garment, like an echo, carries stories of the past, reverberating through the fabric and craftsmanship, offering a contemporary yet soulful homage to your origins.

Presenting “Memoirs of Ri-Yul”

At Saldon, we aim to honour handmade textile traditions of India while working closely with Artisans to develop our pieces ethically.
Slow and Artisanal Luxury Clothing, Handcrafted
in India

2112 Saldon is a label deeply connected to its roots, resonating
with the essence of nature and tradition. Founded with a mission
to revive the endangered art of Nambu, a handspun, handwoven
sheep wool textile from Ladakh, the label embodies the spirit of
sustainable design. In the face of modernization threatening this
ancient craft, Saldon, hailing from Ladakh herself, embarked on a
journey to preserve her heritage through fashion.
The ethos of 2112 Saldon revolves around culture, authenticity,
and meticulous craftsmanship. Each creation is a testament to
Saldon’s commitment to ethical practices and her unwavering
dedication to preserving the purity of the craft.
