Our textiles are at the heart of our design philosophy, where we bring together the rich handweaving traditions of Ladakh and the diverse textile heritage of India. Our signature fabric, Nambu, is a handwoven wool textile from Ladakh, traditionally known for its durability, warmth, and fine texture. Rooted in Ladakhi craftsmanship, Nambu has long been an essential part of the region’s textile culture, offering both insulation and breathability—qualities that make it ideal for contemporary adaptation.
To refine and enhance the versatility of our garments, we blend Nambu with regionally sourced cottons, creating textiles that retain the natural warmth of wool while achieving a softer, lighter, and more breathable structure. This fusion allows us to craft pieces that are tailored yet comfortable, structured yet fluid—perfectly suited for trans-seasonal wear. The incorporation of cotton not only ensures a well-finished drape but also lends a modern sensibility to the traditional Ladakhi fabric, making it adaptable for a wider range of silhouettes and climates.
